Mission

Healthcare Provider

If you're a healthcare provider with a patient who may benefit from biologic wound graft placement, Mobile Wound Rx offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment services tailored to chronic, non-healing wounds. Our specialized team will assess whether the patient meets Medicare’s criteria for biologic graft placement, which generally covers chronic wounds such as diabetic, venous, or pressure ulcers that have not responded to at least 30 days of conventional treatment.

Medicare requires thorough documentation of the wound's history, previous treatments, and medical necessity for biologic grafts, and we ensure all this is completed for proper insurance approvals.

The Benefits of Biologic Grafts

The benefits of biologic grafts for non-healing wounds are significant. Biologic grafts are designed to mimic the structure and function of human skin, providing an optimal environment for healing by promoting cell growth and tissue regeneration.

They are especially effective for wounds that have not responded to other treatments, offering a crucial alternative for patients at risk of infection, tissue damage, or prolonged healing. Biologic grafts also reduce healing time, improve outcomes, and can significantly decrease the risk of complications that arise from untreated or poorly healing chronic wounds.
